White Star Shepherds is a small breeding program located in the quiet suburb of Lancaster, New York. Our puppies are family raised in our home and are played with and loved throughout each and every day. From the day they are born, we start immediate human contact/stimulation with an extensive socializing program until the day they leave us for their forever homes.

​​First and foremost, our white shepherds are bred for health and temperament.  Bred for intelligence and versatility, our dogs are capable for any purpose ~  working dog, therapy dog work, conformation, obedience, and search and rescue. Our dogs are very loyal with steadfast allegiance. They are excellent with children and make great family security dogs.

​​As a small child, my mother told me I would bring home all sorts of animals. From dogs, to cats, to guinea pigs, etc. Then when I grew up, I brought home people...........​

In 1998, I had the opportunity to travel to Frankfurt, Germany to bring back a Schutzhund trained dog to assist me in my job working in law enforcement. I brought back a 7 month old black & tan german shepherd named Eik.  We enjoyed many many years training with the Buffalo Schutzhund Club and trialing at their events. After losing Eik in November 2010, I swore I would not get another german shepherd. I was wrong.

Shortly thereafter, I met Kelly Nash and the next thing you know, I have another german shepherd. His name is Major. I decided to switch gears and train Major for therapy dog work. He is amazing when he works with my law enforcement officers, and other first responders. ​

​While attending a dog show, I met this inspiring woman who had two of the most gorgeous dogs I have ever seen. It was the first time I had ever seen a white shepherd. I feel in Love and had to have one. Milania was my first white shepherd and within the first year of her life, she obtained her Canine Good Citizen Certification (CGC), passed her Therapy Dog International test (TDI), and became a UKC Champion in just two shows.

Milania has inspired me to once again pursue my love and passion of breeding dogs. Ultimately our goal is to produce healthy, even tempered dogs while following closely guidelines and code of ethics for responsible breeding. Here at White Star we believe integrity, trust and reputation is the essence of any good breeding program. 

​

Sophia is my second white shepherd that has amazed me from day one with her accomplishments. Due to a UKC policy change,we have to show Sophia as a white german shepherd dog. In a short period of time, she was a force to reckon with showing against colored german shepherd dogs and beating mature males at a young age. For the last 3 years she has placed as the # 4 german shepherd UKC show dog in the United states and Canada. She has achieved her show status, along with her obedience and therapy dog titles. 

​

Major,  Milania and Sophia are volunteers for my Private Practice Catch A Falling Star, (www.catchafallingstar.net) and also for the Guarding Hearts Therapy Dog Program( www.guardingheartstherapydogs.com). My private practice provides assistance services and crisis response services for law enforcement, Fire and  EMS personnel and military veterans. We find such great pleasure and satisfaction in helping others. We often volunteer to help foster puppies and dogs and welcome them all with an9open heart.
